Nicole Scherzinger leaving Uk X Factor and Cheryl Cole in talks to a comeback

via glooce

"Tulisa, Gary, and Nicole are set to leave -
with Cheryl Cole retaking her rightful place."

NICOLE Scherzinger has dealt X Factor bosses a hammer blow — by threatening to quit the show and reboot her own pop career.

A showbiz insider said: “Nicole has proved really popular with viewers – men want to be with her and women want to be her."

The former Pussycat Doll, 34, said that getting two of her acts — James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas — into the final would be the perfect exit strategy. She said: “I’m really glad I did the show. I don’t know if I’ll come back next year. End on a high, right?”

Nicole has emerged as the most popular judge on this year’s panel and her departure would be another nail in the coffin of the ailing ITV1 show. However, Nicole, who has a new album in the pipeline, is keen to go back on tour.

She said: “This year has changed my life. As an artist, it’s put into perspective what I want, how to go about it.

“People have made me so comfortable and I have to thank you.”

There were reports earlier in the series that Simon Cowell was eager to poach Mel B from the Australian version of the show after a successful guest judging stint.

Reports suggest that besides Scherzinger, the only judge Cowell wants to see return to the show is pal Louis Walsh.

“Tulisa has lost her touch this year and her heart doesn’t seem to be in it, while Gary has a new album and touring commitments with Take That,”the source said.

It has previously been reported that Cowell is intending to return to the UK version of the show next year, and that negotiations are at an advanced level with Cheryl Cole on her return.

The X Factor has lost millions of viewers in the UK this year, and is down almost 10 million on its peak in 2009.

Liverpool singer Christopher Maloney has seen his odds slashed with the bookies as millions have been placed on him to win the competition.

Nicole Scherzinger is in no rush to get married

via Glooce

X Factor's Nicole Scherzinger and just some F1 driver guy called Lewis Hamilton are definitely still going out, deffs, despite it really looking like Nicole was getting her Pussycat smooch on with Chris Brown in a club recently.

The star was a touch cagey when questioned about her on-again, off-again relationship with Lewis on tonight's Jonathan Ross Show, but she did confirm that currently they are 'on-again'.

"Yeah we're together," said Nicole. And when asked if the pair have any plans to make it a more permanent 'on-again' arrangement, she said no. "I don't know [when we're getting married],"
she told Jonathan. "You'll have to ask him."
We would, Nicole, but he moves really, really fast.

Nicole Scherzinger: I sang "95% of PCD Songs On My Own"

via Glooce

Nicole Scherzinger wasn't just the leader of the Pusssycat Dolls -- she was the Pussycat Dolls.

In Scherzinger's upcoming VH1 Behind the Music special, the 34-year-old says fellow "Dolls" Melody Thornton, 28, Ashley Roberts, 31, Kimberly Wyatt, 30, Jessica Sutta, 30, and Carmit Bachar, 38, were given undue credit during the group's heyday.

"I love those girls. They're like my sisters. But people don't even know the whole story," Scherzinger says of her career with the multiplatinum girl group. "They have no idea. I was in the center because I was singing."

The group was formed in 2003 following the success of the burlesque troupe of the same name. After a series of lineup changes, the band released their first single, "Don't Cha," in April 2005.

Scherzinger estimates she "probably did 95 percent" of the singing "on my own" for the band's debut album, PCD. Executive producer Ron Fair stands by the former X Factor judge, saying, "Melody sang a bit here and there, but the records were Nicole, with the exception of an occasional ad-lib. They were Nicole. It was her."

Though Scherzinger was the clear leader of the Pussycat Dolls, she says she "never really talked about" performing the majority of band's vocals.

"I hope I don't get in trouble for the stuff that I say," Scherzinger says, "but I'll never forget I finished the album, PCD, and Ron and I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they'd ever heard the music."

"Do you understand what I'm saying? We played the album for the Pussycat Dolls," she says. "It was the first time they'd ever heard the songs."

Behind the Music airs Sunday, October 7, at 9 p.m. EST on VH1.

Nicole Scherzinger reveals eating disorder: 'Bulimia was my addiction'

via Glooce

During a bombshell interview for VH1′s Behind the Music, singer and former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger joined the recent weight and body image conversation, revealing that she battled bulimia for years while she performed with girl group the Pussycat Dolls.

“I just hated myself,” Scherzinger says during the interview, of which EW has an exclusive video sneak peek below. “I hated myself. I really was so disgusted with myself and so embarrassed. I felt so alone. I was in a group, and I never felt so alone in my life.”

The singer is surprisingly candid about her experience, and the first of two exclusive clips below details how Scherzinger’s battle with bulimia began. Talking about the issue for the first time has been difficult for her. “Yeah, I’m nervous about it,” she says in the first of two clips below. “It’s embarrassing. I never spoke about it. Like I said, I never want to play a victim, and I never wanted my family to hear about things from me because I think it would break their heart, you know. I guess it was like my addiction, right? I never did drugs, but kinda doing things to myself was my addiction. It’s like when I got off stage, I was on this high, and I’d come back to my room and I’d be alone, so I would just do things. My bulimia was my addiction; hurting myself was my addiction.”

The second clip details how the bulimia took a toll on all the members of the Pussycat Dolls. “I did it everyday for, like, years,” Scherzinger admits. “Every time I had a second to be alone, I was doing something to myself. You get, like, blisters on your hands or scars on your hands, and I’d try to hide those. I think the girls could tell.”

Now healthy, Scherzinger decided to record an audio PSA about the issue, which you can also find below. Scherzinger’s full Behind the Music episode premieres Sunday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. ET, but get a preview of what’s on tap with these two exclusive clips:
