Rihanna debuts short hair

She's tried blonde, black and red, and experimented with straight hair, curly bobs and sleek bangs.

But now Rihanna has decided to update her look once again, going for one of her most drastic changes yet with a super-short cropped hairdo.
The 24-year-old singer showcased her new style as she arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards tonight

The incredibly short look is a sharp contrast to the long wavy hair Rihanna has been sporting in recent weeks.

However, it's not the first time Rihanna has tried out a more androgynous look with her barnet, as she previously sported a crop for her role as Cora Raikes in blockbuster movie Battleship earlier this year.

She also had a shorter 'do back in 2009, but the style was longer on top giving it a more feminine feel. The new look is undoubtedly the shortest Rihanna has ever had her hair.
Surprisingly, Rihanna made no mention of her new look on her Twitter page, where she usually keeps fans regularly updated with any changes in her appearance.

Jessica Alba’s Blonde Hair Transformation

Over the last couple of days Jessica Alba, one of our favorite celebrity brunettes, was transformed into a sexy blonde. Jessica has always famously said that she’d dye her hair any color for a film role, and she’s staying true to her word by going blonde for her latest role as Nancy Callahan in the Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.

It’s been 7 years since Jessica first played Nancy in the original Sin City, and we’re excited to see her return to blonde on the big screen. The film doesn’t come out until 2013, but Jessica has kindly shared her blonde transformation on Twitter and Instagram.

With long extensions, blonde hair and darker roots, Nancy is the epitome of the sexy vixen. But have you ever wondered just how long it takes to go from Jessica’s shade of brown to blonde bombshell? Check out Jessica’s photos below, which document the process:

Jessica tweeted “Bye bye brown hair” before undergoing part 1 of her blonde transformation.

Next up, Jessica showed us stage 1 of her dye job, tweeting: “Stage 1 -ok it doesn’t look that different but it’s a process”

Almost there! Jessica tweeted: “Stage 2 of #SinCity2 Nancy hair.”

Finally a blonde, Jessica tweeted: “She got roots that Nancy #sincity2.” We definitely love that Nancy is rocking the oh-so trendy ombre hairstyle!

And finally, she’s ready to roll! Jessica tweeted, “What a way to start the day -training for a movie is sorta fun.”
