We all went through quite a journey with her alter ego Rachel Green on Friends. She was with Ross, she was on a "break" with Ross and she was never quite sure who her soul mate (AKA lobster) really was until the very end.
If you recall, Rachel first ran into our living room wearing a wedding dress after jilting her groom at the altar. She just didn't love Barry and made the brave choice to find herself instead. Remember this scene (we meet Jen/Rachel at the 2:30 mark)?
So, I just can't help but look back at some of Jen's (well Rachel's) greatest moments on her quest to find true love and happiness on Friends while we celebrate how far she's come in her own love life!
1. The Blushing Bridesmaid
Ugh, what was worse than wearing a Pepto Bismol pink bridesmaid dress? Oh you, know, just wearing it to the wedding of the groom you left at the altar and your former maid of honor. What's amazing? Having your new, albeit slightly awkward, boyfriend stand up for you when no one can believe you would actually show your face at said wedding! Watch the video here.
2. Rachel Finds Her "Lobster"
Okay, I just watched this clip about 30 times in a row. Get out some Kleenex and relive the moment Rachel realizes that Ross is her "lobster." The gang watches a lost prom tape that shows Ross ready to step in and take a young Rachel to prom when it looked like she might be stood up! Present day Rachel is so moved that they finally kiss and the rest is history . . . Watch here.
3. Ross Does a Bad Bad Thing
Seriously, they were on a break for less than an hour when Ross cheated on Rachel with the girl from the copy place! This fight breaks my heart every time and makes me so furious with Ross all over again!
4. Ross Says Rachel's name . . .
While marrying Emily--who I personally never really cared for. Did you?
5. Ross and Rachel Tie the Knot!
In Vegas! While drunk out of their minds! And, it's just Ross' third marriage, no big deal. But how many of you wanted this blessed union to stick?
6. Ross and Rachel Have a Baby
It's pretty cliche, the maid of honor and the best man getting together--but that's just what Ross and Rachel did while stuffing envelopes for Chandler and Monica's wedding. And thus baby Emma was born. Watching Ross and Rachel sing her to sleep with a rousing rendition of "Baby Got Back" is one of my favorite moments on the show that you can watch here!
7. Rachel Gets Off the Plane
And Ross and Rachel FINALLY get together for good. You guys voted for the final episode of Friends as the "greatest ever" series finale and I'm pretty sure it's because of this heart stopping scene where Rachel decides to give up a chance to work in Paris to finally be with Ross for good!
