This season, Best in Show’s Catherine O’Hara will show up on the NBC comedy as the earnest page’s backcountry mama, and Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston will be her “friend,” Ron.
Their exact air dates have yet to be determined, TVGuide.com reports.
The site also reports that Jack McBrayer’s cornpone character will spend part of the sitcom’s seventh and final season in an innocent romantic relationship with Kristen Schaal’s Hazel.
In addition to stealing the show in several Christopher Guest films, O’Hara’s TV credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm and Six Feet Under. And Cranston, who is nearing the end of his five-season (d)evolution as Breaking Bad’s Walter White, recently directed an episode of The Office’s upcoming Season 9.
30 Rock returns to NBC on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c.
